Nice two pack set!
I have received the TriLink 5/32 Replacement Round Sharpening Files and at a good time too! I have been using my chainsaw a lot cleaning up around the house and the chain got pretty dull after several uses. These files come as a two pack thankfully so they are going to last a lot longer. The package recommends to use a file handle or file guide to sharpen your chainsaw chains but does not come with one provided. The approximate size is 5/32" or 4.0mm. They recommend that you sharpen each saw cutter at a 90 degree angle in one direction then switch to the opposite side and repeat until all have been sharpened. These files are not flimsy or cheaply made, they are actually decent quality and did exactly what I needed to get my chain back in shape. Overall this is a good product and I imagine the price is worth it to most for this two pack file set. I might get a second pack to give my mom and dad to have around if needed in the workshop. These files should last a good while and can be stored anywhere since they are so small in size.Athena
Useful and made well
After using the Trilink 5/32 chainsaw file set I find them to be a quality item that does the job. My electric chainsaw blade was very dull and after using them my saw ran very well. I would recommend using the file guide to make sure you are filing correctly to eliminate possible kickback when using the saw after sharpening. This is a 2 piece set that has directions on ghe back of the package . The files held up just fine and sharpened my blade well. I'm sure I will get plenty more uses out of them. I would recommend this product. It is made of good material and is a good tool to have in my toolbox.cas70
Excellent product
Keep in mind I am a person who thinks outside the box! I see these as files for DIY projects.

I will use them on my chain saw before I use it, but I really did not have anything to cut down at the moment.

But I do have a serrated knife that was getting dull. I use it to cut grass around the edges of my fence and other objects in the yard. I used one of these files to sharpen it.

Walla! It worked to a charm, now I can just wave the knife at the grass sticking up and Whoosh! Cut off like a scythe! In the picture you can see where the file did a great job in the groves of the serrated knife.

PS. I do not have any children at home or nearby, or visiting.bonbon
