So far so good
Have had the saw for a week. Used for clearing two large trees down due to Hurricane Matthew; i am pleased with ease of use, safety, efficiency.PaulBunyan
Worth it..
Bought this and the weather won't cooperate so haven't had a chance to put it through all it's paces. I have the pole saw and it did so well went for the chainsaw. Needed something with more to it. This fit the bill. Why electric you ask? Ever try starting one when it's cold, or start and stop repeatedly, gas doesn't like to start on a short notice in cold weather. Electric goes at the push of a button. In an emergency no hunting for gas or 2 cycle oil, just plug and go. Even a generator or power inverter. It's just easier, cleaner, better for the environment.trlinde
Quick an Easy to Use
Looking at the forestry industry, I struggle calling this a chainsaw, but it is an excellent tree trimmer. I have used it a lot, and it is easy to wield while on a ladder (or up a tree). It's been used to whack off some pretty good size branches, even some medium sized trunks, and has worked flawlessly. Like a chainsaw, remember to keep it sharp, check its oil regularly and be safe (...because the limb you whack could be your own!!).CleanPhil
